The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia is concerned about the fact that the servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh did not allow a group of deputies of the National Assembly of Armenia to enter Nagorno-Karabakh.

"This action contradicts the Trilateral Statement of November 9, which envisages the unimpeded connection of Nagorno-Karabakh with Armenia through the Lachin corridor. All parties to the Statement must strictly adhere to the latter’s letter and spirit, as well as fulfill its obligations," the Armenian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Today Seyran Ohanyan, the leader of the bloc "Armenia", placed the flag of Artsakh in the National Assembly during his speech, stating that the faction will not participate in the NA session and will visit Artsakh, as he believes that Artsakh is in danger. After Ohanyan's statement, the "I Have Honor" faction joined the initiative.

However, later NA Vice-Speaker Ishkhan Saghatelyan reported that opposition MPs were not allowed to enter Artsakh.
