Armenian Prime Minister’s advisor Artashes Tumanyan was in Turkmenistan's capital of Ashgabat on a working visit from Monday to Thursday.

Within the framework of the trip, Tumanyan met separately with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, Deputy Prime Minister for Oil and Gas as well as Co-chair of the Armenia-Turkmenistan Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation Shakhym Abdrakhmanov, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial and Energy Complexes Charymurad Purchekov, and Chairman of Turkmengaz State Concern Batyr Amanov.

Bilateral and regional economic cooperation was discussed during the meetings.
