YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd daily of Armenia writes: The [opposition] "Armenia" Faction of the National Assembly has come up with a new draft entitled "On Conceptual Provisions of Armenia-Turkey Relations." (…).

The draft presents in detail how the opposition faction sees the future of Armenia-Turkey relations. They emphasize that the parliament [of Armenia] also should have its role in the matter of these settlements.

The draft notes: "Armenia's commitment to ensure the supremacy of national state interests in the process of establishing lasting peace and good-neighborly relations: It is necessary to be guided by the legal-political goals enshrined in the documents excluding vital concessions and expressing the collective will of the Armenians.

The establishment of Armenia-Turkey relations cannot be directly or indirectly agreed upon and served to meet Azerbaijan's demands."
