There is no risk of war in the region now. Andranik Tevanyan, an MP from the opposition "Armenia" Faction of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, stated this during Friday’s press briefings in the NA.

According to the opposition lawmaker, the “enthusiasm” on this topic is artificially exaggerated in Armenia, and the latter’s authorities are behind it.

"A war in Karabakh [(Artsakh)] and Armenia is unlikely at the moment. It will actually mean declaring war on Russia and Iran. The danger of war is exaggerated by Armenia’s authorities to justify the current as well as future concessions," Tevanyan said.
