Artur Vanetsyan—the leader of the opposition "With Honor" Faction of the National Assembly and chairman of the opposition Homeland party of Armenia—and his supporters held an awareness campaign in downtown Yerevan Tuesday evening.

They marched from Freedom Square to Mashtots Avenue and returned to Freedom Square.

During the march, they chanted, "Armenians, unite!"

"Two days ago, when I came to the square, I was alone. Today we were not as many as we expected. But we are here, and we are sure that we will increase [in number]. I will continue to stay at Freedom Square until the number of Armenians here is hundredfold and we have a strong Armenia and Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)]," Vanetsyan said in his concluding address.

Earlier, Armenian News-NEWS.am reported that Artur Vanetsyan announced on April 17 the start of protests—and with no term or end—at Freedom Square in downtown Yerevan. Sometime thereafter, Nver Kirakosyan and Artur Avagyan—two participants of the 44-day Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war in the fall of 2020—announced an indefinite hunger strike, and they came to Freedom Square Monday morning to start this hunger strike.
