YEREVAN. – Within the framework of the Armenian governmental delegation’s visit to Moscow, the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, Vahram Dumanyan, on Wednesday met with the Minister of Culture of Russia, Olga Lyubimova.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the "Days of Armenian Culture in Russia" event planned for this year, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. Russian Minister Lyubimova suggested organizing the opening of this event on June 10 in Moscow.

Minister Dumanyan, for his part, attached importance to the expansion of cultural cooperation between the two friendly countries, and expressed the readiness of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia to host the "Days of Russian Spiritual Culture" event in Armenia this year.

In turn, Russian minister Lyubimova reflected on cooperation in cultural education and the implementation of joint programs in this regard.

Also, the Russian official invited Minister Dumanyan to the annual Saint Petersburg International Cultural Forum.

In addition, the “Cultural cooperation program between the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, Sports of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation for 2022-2025” was signed within the framework of this meeting.

At the end of the meeting, Minister Vahram Dumanyan invited Minister Olga Lyubimova to Armenia, expecting that this visit will take place during the "STARMUS FESTIVAL VI: 50 years on Mars" event, which is scheduled for September 5-10 in Armenia.
