The American company Procter & Gamble (P&G) announced a possible withdrawal from the Russian market due to sanctions, financial restrictions and supply problems, Reuters reported, citing company representatives.
According to P&G, the main factor in making a decision will be the impact of the crisis in Ukraine on retail customers, suppliers and distributors of the corporation. Prior to the start of the special operation of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine, business in Russia and Ukraine brought from 1.5% to 2% of the company's global profit.
Last month, P&G announced the termination of investments in the Russian segment of its business and the reduction of the list of products exported to the Russian Federation.
