Due to the coronavirus pandemic, we have not seen our colleagues from Armenia for a long time. Sadly, we have found ourselves in a new reality, Russian State Duma MP Oleg Nilov told a press conference in Yerevan Thursday.
"In the past, Armenia and Russia were more engaged in solving other issues. But today, if we are talking about a medium-term perspective, we, I suppose, will have to communicate more. The economic and cultural issues will be more; this stems from the interests of both our citizens and our countries. Such opportunities, in fact, will simply be more," added the Russian lawmaker.
A group of Russian parliamentarians are visiting Armenia to attend the 34th session of the Interparliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
