YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: Despite the 30-point (…) [Armenian PM Nikol] Pashinyan-[Russian President Vladimir] Putin statement during the visit to Moscow, whereby the parties pledged allegiance to each other and promised cooperation in various fields and it was seen as a manifestation of Putin-Pashinyan flirtation, we learn from diplomatic sources say the meeting was not held in quite a "love atmosphere."

On the contrary, Pashinyan was once again strongly warned to refrain from contacts with the West and Baku—when discussing new proposals, options on the matters of Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] as well as the delimitation of [the borders of] Armenia [with Azerbaijan]—until he has discussed those proposals with the Russian side. It is about the Brussels meeting and agreements.

According to our source, the Russian side understands that although Pashinyan has silently signed under the 30 points of the Russians, he can go—behind its [i.e., Russia’s] back—to other agreements with the EU at any time.
