Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan received Kazakh Ambassador to the Republic of Armenia Bolat Imanbayev on Monday.
According to the press service of the Defense Ministry, the meeting was also attended by the military attache of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Armenia.
The head of the Defense Ministry briefed the ambassador on the situation in the region, and presented the latest developments in the border regions of Armenia.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to the Armenian-Kazakh cooperation in the defense sphere, particularly the ways of further expanding cooperation, and the progress and deadlines of the events envisaged in the multilateral formats.
During the meeting, there was also an exchange of views on international and regional security issues.
