Former U.S. President Donald Trump claims that he gave British Queen Elizabeth II "one of the best nights of her life," writes the publication Indy100.

In a recent interview with journalist Piers Morgan, Trump shared his impressions of a reception at Buckingham Palace in July 2019, when the British queen hosted the then-White House head and his wife Melania.

"And I sat down next to her, and we talked all night. And someone said we've never seen her smile like that. We had a great time," Trump said.

However, experts on the royal family interviewed by the Daily Mail disagreed with Trump's interpretation. For example, body language expert Judy James called Elizabeth II a "professional body language masquerader" whose smile was a "trained social response."

She added that the monarch's facial expression "changed dramatically" when she looked away from Trump, and "her raised shoulders hinted at annoyance."
