If someone wants to interfere in the situation in Ukraine from the outside and create a threat of a strategic nature, the strikes will be lightning-fast, Russian President Vladimir Putin said, RIA Novosti reported.
According to him, all decisions on such strikes in the event of a threat to strategic security have been taken. Putin noted that in the event of a threat to it, Russia will use in response the means that its opponents do not yet have. "We have all the instruments for this, which no one else can boast of. And we won't boast - we will use them if necessary," he said.
The Russian leader said that all the tasks of the special military operation conducted in Donbas and Ukraine, which began on 24 February, will certainly be accomplished "to guarantee peace and security for the residents of the Donetsk and Luhansk, Russian Crimea and our entire country in the historical perspective."
