US Ambassadors to Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia-Litzenberger, Degnan, and Tracy, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Olson, State Department Chief Counselor for Caucasus Negotiations Andrew Schofer, and Acting Coordinator for American Assistance to Europe and Eurasia Greg Naarden attended a regional heads-of-mission meeting at the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan.

Yerevan, Baku and Tbilisi have hosted similar events before, APA reported, citing the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan.

"Colleagues from the region and Washington gathered to exchange views and information. As we mark the 30th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s diplomatic relations with the U.S. and Azerbaijan’s independence from the Soviet Union, there is no greater supporter of independence and democracy in the South Caucasus than the United States," the report said.
