Security is the number one issue today. And I must state that the fact of the intrusion of Azerbaijani [military] units into the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh, of course, continues to worry us. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia stated this Friday during his meeting with the delegation led by President Arayik Harutyunyan of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
"We, as we have said many times and continue to hold that position, expressing hope that the representatives of the Russian peacekeeping contingent will consistently ensure the withdrawal of Azerbaijani units from the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh. This is an important issue. And I believe it is also an important issue for the people of Artsakh—in order to assess the system of security guarantees that is currently introduced in Artsakh," the Armenian PM added.
