YEREVAN. – The statement issued by the Ministry of Defense (MOD) of Azerbaijan that on Saturday evening units of the Armenian Armed Forces fired—from large-caliber firearms—at the Azerbaijani military positions located in the eastern part of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border is disinformation. This is reported by the Armenian MOD.

The situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is relatively stable and is under the full control of the Armenian Armed Forces, the Armenian Ministry of Defense added.
