The speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, confirmed—in an interview with the RFE/RL Armenian Service—that the woman in a video spread on the internet today is his mother.
"Mother's nerves could not stand [it]," Simonyan added.
A video was spread today in which Simonyan's mother is seen spitting from the balcony several times and giving the finger at the participants of the opposition march.
