Two ships of the Chinese patrol service entered the territorial waters of Japan, NHK reported. The incident took place near the Senkaku Islands. These islands are reportedly claimed by Beijing.
The warships attempted to approach the Japanese fishing boats. The National Maritime Safety Service sent patrol boats to the area to ensure the safety of their fishermen.
They urge Chinese ships to leave Japanese territorial waters.
