YEREVAN. - Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan met with students of Luys Foundation Develop Armenia program on Saturday.

The PM said that in modern world knowledge is an essential resource and building a knowledge-based society requires educational system that would correspond to highest international criteria.

Sargsyan emphasized the necessity of acquiring international certification for Armenian universities. 

Luys scholars gather in Armenia and live for a several weeks with small communities spread throughout the country. They design projects that carry the wealth of the knowledge they have acquired abroad and apply their knowledge to the reality and the needs of the local communities.
