Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will hold a phone conversation scheduled for tomorrow in a bilateral format, the Kremlin told Interfax.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is not expected to participate.

This is a bilateral conversation between Putin and Erdogan, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov clarified Sunday.

"Bilateral (format)," he said when asked to clarify whether this was a bilateral conversation or a trilateral conversation involving Zelenskyy.

Earlier on Sunday, Turkey's president said he planned to hold telephone talks with his Russian and Ukrainian counterparts on Monday, Anadolu news agency reported.
