A criminal case was initiated on the murder of Armenian soldier David Vardanyan by an Azerbaijani sniper.
According to the press service of the Investigative Committee, on 28 May around 10:40 a.m. David Vahan Vardanyan was shot by an enemy sniper while being on combat duty.
The soldier was taken to Kapan Medical Center where his biological death was fixed at 03:47 on 29 May. An investigation is underway.
