Deputy Chief of Police Vardan Movsisyan told reporters in the Armenian parliament on Tuesday that Police officers were given bonuses not in April but in May.
"The policemen received their salaries and statutory bonuses which seem to have amounted to AMD 2.5bln," Movsisyan said.
The deputy police chief assured that everyone received bonuses. According to him, this was not due to the demonstrations that took place in Yerevan.
