The vice-speaker of the opposition parliament, representative of the Supreme Body of ARF Dashnaktsutyun Ishkhan Saghatelyan, commented on the information that the Resistance Movement may announce a time-out.

"This information is not true," he told NEWS.am.

"We are not discussing an option for a break, because there is no reason for that. On the contrary, we are discussing options for expanding the struggle and going in that direction. I think that by our actions in the past period we did not give anyone a reason to draw such conclusions. That is why we exclude such a scenario, we will not retreat, we go forward with such a mood, and all the rest is just idle talk that is periodically thrown into the information field. 3 June is a very important day. All those who think that the movement may announce a break or go down, will be deeply disappointed," said Saghatelyan.

According to the newspaper Hraparak, the Resistance Movement, which has been active for more than a month, is not "exhausted," contrary to the wishes of the authorities, but it is possible that in the coming days the opposition will announce the end of this stage of disobedience actions. "Our sources tell us that there will be a time-out in the coming weeks, and before that the initiators of the movement will present a report. Opinions are divided as to the timeframe for returning to the streets: some say Pashinyan won't sign a document until fall, while others say the processes are developing so rapidly that it won't get to fall; taking advantage of the summer heat, Pashinyan will sign another traitorous document in a hurry," the newspaper notes.
