Armenian businessman Hovhannes Kamaryan, 62, was shot dead in Moscow. He owned a company providing consulting services, Kommersant writes.

Kamaryan was shot while leaving a restaurant with a woman. An unidentified person shot him in the back and head, after which he took a cell phone photo of the deceased and fled the scene.

According to REN TV, the murder suspect is 25 years old.

A TASS source in Russian law enforcement informed that Hovhannes Kamaryan was wanted in Armenia. He was wanted for plotting a murder, RIA Novosti reports. At the same time, the source of this news agency informed that since Kamaryan was a Russian citizen, his extradition to another country was ruled out.

The Russian Investigative Committee informed that the murder suspect has been arrested. According to the “112” Telegram channel, he is Alik Y., 24.

It is noted that Hovhannes Kamaryan was declared wanted in Armenia for attempting to plot the murder of his rival Rafik Madoyan in 2013.
