Vice President of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan said on Friday that Armenia highly appreciates the cooperation with the European Union, the press service of the National Assembly reported.
His remarks came during the meeting with a delegation headed by Toivo Klaar, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia.
Head of EU Delegation to Armenia, EU Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin attended the meeting.
The sides exchanged views on the normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkey. Rubinyan presented the positions and priorities of Armenia. Toivo Klaar emphasized that the EU is interested in promoting the process.
The interlocutors discussed the regional situation, highlighting the importance of establishing peace and stability in the South Caucasus.
