Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia Toivo Klaar.
During the meeting, Pashinyan noted the importance of the Armenia-EU partnership and praised the efforts of the President of the European Council Charles Michel in ensuring regional stability, Armenian News-NEWS.am was told by the press service of the government of the republic. In the context of regional peace and peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict, the RA Prime Minister stressed the importance of the activities of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs.
In turn, Klaar said that the European Union attaches great importance to the process of deepening cooperation with Armenia and supports the regional dialogue.
The sides exchanged views on the implementation of the agreements reached following the results of the Brussels meetings. Issues related to the work of the commission on border demarcation and security, and the unblocking of regional infrastructures were also touched upon.
