The resistance movement is giving the authorities a chance to hold an extraordinary session of the National Assembly.
As Ishkhan Saghatelyan, vice-speaker of the National Assembly, said, addressing the participants of the movement outside the government building, there is still 2.5 hours before the end of the time established by law for convening the session in order to get out of the current situation.
"We are in front of the government, because the parliament is managed from this building," Saghatelyan said. He said that literally five minutes after it became known that the participants of the movement were going to the government, Nikol Pashinyan left the building. Sagatelyan urged citizens to be careful not to let anyone out of the building. "We are waiting for an answer," Sagatelian stated.
