The Greek Ambassador to Ankara, Christodoulos Lazaris, was summoned to the Turkish Foreign Ministry due to Greece's support for terrorist organizations, especially the PKK, FETO and DHKP-C, and in connection with the PKK demonstration organized near the Turkish Embassy in Athens, Anadolu reported.
According to information received from diplomatic sources, Lazaris was summoned to the Turkish Foreign Ministry, where he was informed of Turkey's point of view and reaction on this issue.
Lazaris was informed that the aforementioned terrorist organizations easily carry out propaganda, financial and recruiting activities in Greece and that Greece's identity as a haven for terrorist-related circles is growing.
The Ambassador of Greece was informed about the inadmissibility of organizing political acts against Turkey by terrorist groups, in particular the PKK.
Concerns were expressed to Ambassador Lazaris about the safety of Turkish missions and citizens in Greece and the expectation of effective cooperation in the fight against terrorism was confirmed.
