The most important priority of our foreign policy is to ensure the security of Armenia and Karabakh, as well as the Karabakh conflict’s political settlement within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship. Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan said this during Monday’s preliminary debates on the execution of the 2021 state budget, at the joint meeting of the standing committees of the National Assembly of Armenia.

In particular, he presented—in detail—all his meetings, as well as those of some other officials and their content. Mirzoyan assured that from the point of view of the format of these discussions, the number of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs is of special importance for the Armenian side.

"During the meetings, the Armenian side stressed its position on the full resumption of the Karabakh peace process through the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship," Mirzoyan said.

Also, the need for de-escalation of tension in the border zone and the settlement of humanitarian issues were confirmed, and the inadmissibility of provocations and anti-Armenian rhetoric were stressed.
