A trilateral meeting of foreign ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan Mevlut Cavusoglu, Jeyhun Bayramov and Mukhtar Tleuberdi will be held in Baku on 27 June, Interfax reported.
"The foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Kazakhstan will meet in Baku on 27 June," Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said Monday in Ankara at a briefing with his Azerbaijani counterpart.
In addition, he said that meetings of foreign ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan in a bilateral and trilateral format are planned in the coming period, followed by a summit of the leaders of the three countries in Turkmenistan.
Cavusoglu added that by the end of 2021 Turkey's foreign trade turnover reached $30 billion. "There are about 11 thousand Turkish companies operating in friendly and brotherly countries, and the total value of projects implemented by our contracting companies exceeds $110 billion. To expand trade and investment it is necessary to strengthen ties of Caucasus and Central Asia with neighboring countries. The Middle Corridor plays a strategic role in this matter. We will continue discussing these issues with Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan," the minister added.
