President Arman Dilanyan of the Constitutional Court of Armenia on Tuesday met with the visiting President Claire Bazy Malaurie of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe (CoE).

"I want to specially stress in that we attach great importance to our cooperation with the Council of Europe, we attach great importance to our cooperation with the Venice Commission. We have long-standing traditions of cooperation; they have been for decades. I hope that during your presidency not only those ties will be strengthened, but also a new impetus will be given to those relations," Dilanyan said, addressing Malaurie.

The President of the Venice Commission, in her turn, said that she is very happy to be in Armenia, and underscored this meeting, especially after the coronavirus pandemic and the renewal of relations with CoE member Armenia.
