YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd newspaper of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes. In 2021, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, reflecting—in the National Assembly—on our casualties and missing persons as a result of the 44-day war, had stated: "As of today, we have 100 identified bodies which have been identified with relatives, but the relatives for some reason refuse to accept that fact, which is understandable. Many of our compatriots believe that their relatives are [still] alive."

Also, he had noted that there are families who do not trust the DNA test, and organize the DNA test abroad by their own means.

And what do we have 1 year and 2 months after the Prime Minister's statement? According to the exclusive information of Zhoghovurd daily, the remains of about 86 soldiers are still in the Metsamor and Heratsi morgues these days; the relatives refuse to accept that they are their children.

It means that the situation has not changed about 2 years after the war, and even the creation of a fraternal grave suggested by many soldiers remained in abeyance.
