A resident of the town of Berdzor, who happened to be on the Azerbaijani side, has returned to Artsakh, the press service of the Artsakh MIA informed NEWS.am.

 Artsakh police received a report about the disappearance of a 69-year-old resident of Berdzor on 1 June.

As a result of the joint search carried out by employees of the Kashatagh regional police department and representatives of the Russian peacekeeping forces, it was found out that the latter got lost and appeared on the Azerbaijani side.

As a result of negotiations with the mediation of peacekeepers, on 9 June at about 12:00 A.A. was handed over to the officers of the Kashatagh Regional Police Department.

The circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
