The narrow-format meeting of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers started in Yerevan.

The participants of the meeting were welcomed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan.

Before that, the arrival of the delegations and their joint photo session was held.

An extended meeting will ensue the narrow-format meeting.

Also, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas will make statements for the press.

Redemption of a stamp and an envelope is also envisaged.

The agenda of the aforesaid meetings includes matters related to international and regional security, as well as strengthening of the rapid crisis response mechanisms of the CSTO.

After the meetings, a memorandum of understanding on foreign policy, defense, and security between the representatives of the CSTO member states is expected to be signed, and the 2022-2024 consultation program is expected to be adopted.
