Chief of Armenian Prime Minister's Staff Arayik Harutyunyan received Russian President's Special Envoy for International Cultural Cooperation, former Russian Culture Minister Mikhail Shvydkoy, Armenian government press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to bilateral cooperation in the humanitarian sphere and prospective areas.

 The sides also touched upon "Days of Armenian culture in Russia" and "Days of Russian spiritual culture in Armenia" programs. The Days of Armenian Culture in Russia will be held in Moscow on 10-11 June, and in Kislovodsk on 13 June. The Days of Spiritual Culture of Russia in Armenia are scheduled for autumn of 2022.

The interlocutors highlighted the importance of holding these events and emphasized that they will contribute to consolidating the centuries-old friendship between the Armenian and Russian peoples.
