YEREVAN. – Past daily of Armenia writes: The incumbent authorities are attempting to create newer imitations in order to "occupy" the [Armenian] society in every way and to present another "convenient" scene.
This time, they seem to be attempting to ensure "novelty" through the parliamentary committee investigating the circumstances of the 44-day [Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh)] war [in the fall of 2020].
According to Past newspaper’s information, the committee has been given a special instruction to also "examine," apart from the circumstances of the war, the details of the Karabakh conflict settlement negotiation process and the risky episodes, in order to present to the broad circles of the society in the future—with the greatest possible openness.
In particular, according to our sources, the committee has been tasked with thoroughly examining not only the military but also political—including diplomatic—reasons for the recorded failures. All this will be done exclusively within the framework of the trend to once again “throw” everything in the "pocket" of the "former authorities."
