YEREVAN. – Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is in Qatar on an official visit, received—at his temporary residence—the State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the avenues for the further development and strengthening of relations between Armenia and Qatar in foreign policy, the Prime Minister's Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Pashinyan highlighted Qatar's role in the Arab world, and stressed the Armenian government's interest in expanding and deepening bilateral relations with Qatar in various domains.

The meeting focused also on the processes taking place in the South Caucasus.
