The 25th jubilee St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will take place from 15 to18 June, it will be attended by representatives from over 90 countries.

This year the main topic of SPIEF is the search of new opportunities in the changing world.

The main business program of SPIEF-2022 is divided into four thematic tracks dedicated to the global and Russian economy, social and technological agenda, human potential development, according to the forum organizer Roscongress Foundation.

The "New Economic Order: Meeting the Challenges of Time" track will include sessions on economic recovery and international cooperation in the SCO, BRICS, and EAEC, the transformation of world trade, and business efficiency in the new logistical realities.

The second thematic block of the business program of the event is "The Russian Economy: New Challenges and Horizons" dedicated to the new challenges facing the country - from the anti-crisis agenda to improving the long-term potential of the economy.

Discussions within the "Modern Technologies for Mankind: Creating a Responsible Future" track will touch upon digital sovereignty, information security, and the digitalization of various industries.

Participants in the "Investments in People - Investments in Development" sessions will discuss the development of human capital, new employee skills, and employment models.

Sessions devoted to the development of creative industries, sports and education are also planned on the Forum's sidelines.

The traditional cross-country business dialogues with representatives of business communities from Africa, Belarus, the Middle East, Europe, Egypt, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Latin America, as well as the dialogue "EAEC - ASEAN" will be held during SPIEF-2022.

The business program of the event includes breakfast for representatives of pharmaceutical companies, Sber breakfast and IT-breakfast.

This year the forum will be attended by the presidents of Armenia and Kazakhstan Vahagn Khachaturyan and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
