A conference to mark the anniversary of the so-called "Shushi Declaration" is taking place in Azerbaijani-occupied Armenian Shushi.

The event is titled "Azerbaijani-Turkish strategic alliance - a source of peace and stability for the Caucasus and the region".

The participants visited the sights of Shushi, including the city's central square, where monuments to Azerbaijani figures Natavan, Bulbul and Uzeyir Hajibeyli have already been erected. The President of Azerbaijan sent an address to the conference participants.
