The participants of Armenia’s opposition Resistance Movement, who were protesting at a downtown Yerevan park, marched to and reached the building of the Prosecutor General's Office, then closed off the street across, and sat on the street.

Opposition MP Aram Vardevanyan noted as follows in his remarks: "Authorities formed by acts of [civil] disobedience, which once said that the testimony of the police cannot be a basis for arrest, is today keeps people in custody on that basis. (…). With our action, we first express our attitude towards the police officers who arrest people forcibly, or by their will, by their testimony."
