Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia is not preventing the export of grain from Ukraine, Komsomolskaya Pravda reported.
"We do not interfere with the supply of Ukrainian grain. We are not the ones who have mined the ports," the head of state said during a speech at SPIEF.
According to Vladimir Putin, it's not about Russia, but about "the adequacy of those people who are in Kiev."
The Russian president also noted that "in the European Union they realized that they had done a foolish thing by imposing sanctions against food, but it is impossible to turn back.
"The Americans imposed sanctions against food, and then they unscrewed them. The EU did not. Everyone understands that they did something stupid, but it's impossible to go back," the Russian leader said, commenting on Europe's sanctions against Russia.
