YEREVAN. - Union of Armenian artists of Georgia was established in Tbilisi.
The constitutive meeting was held in the Armenian Diocese of Georgia funded by Calouste Gulbenkian foundation and attended by artists, miniaturists, sculptors, and other cultural figures.
Famous miniaturist Meruzhan Shaumyan was elected chairman of the union.
