Former U.S. presidential candidate and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the country could withdraw from NATO.

Her remarks came in conversation with the Financial Times.

The politician believes that if former United States President Donald Trump were re-elected in 2020, the country would leave the North Atlantic Alliance.

Clinton also indicated that Trump might decide to run for election in 2024. She added, however, that she did not know who might challenge him in the Republican Party primaries.
