The matter of the alternative road was specified by the trilateral statement of November 9, 2020. Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Foreign Minister David Babayan told about this to a press conference Monday in Yerevan.

"The matter has not been completely resolved yet. Construction takes time. It's a little early to say now. (…). Let's see how the situation will develop," the Artsakh FM said.

According to him, in any case, even if an alternative road is built, it will have to be inspected.

"If there will be problems, an additional construction work will be required," Babayan stated.
