House prices in Britain rose to a record 0.3% in June 2022. Asked property prices rose for five consecutive months, the Guardian reported with reference to the data of the profile company Rightmove.
Reuters clarified that asking prices rose for homes for sale from 15 May to 11 June. However, the dynamics of 0.3 % was the lowest since January 2022. The cost reached 368.6 thousand pounds.
Company experts suggested that rising interest rates and a crisis in living standards would put the brakes on appreciation in the coming months.
"Alongside more choice coming onto the market for buyers and the usual seasonal variations, means that there are likely to be some month-on-month price falls during the second half of the year," Rightmove predicted.
