Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedow flew to Germany to visit a local clinic, a source on the Dutch-registered portal turkmen.news reported.

It is reported that Berdimuhamedow Jr. flew from Ashgabat to Munich on Wednesday on a government-operated flight number EZ-A780 and immediately went to a clinic in the city. However, no specific reasons were given for the head of state's visit to a medical institution. It is known that the Turkmen President can fly back on 23 June.

The portal considers the evening news on Turkmen television as indirect evidence of the absence of the head of state in the country. It is noted that "Vatan" program the day before did not contain any reports with Berdimuhamedow 's participation, which is very unusual for this state.
