Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting of the Security Council of Russia.

Among other things, he called on members of the Security Council to make decent preparations for the single day of voting in September, MK reported.

The Russian president noted that the single voting day is a major domestic political event for which conditions must be ensured.

Voting Day in 2022 is scheduled for 11 September. This day will include 14 direct gubernatorial elections and one election of the head of a region through voting in parliament.
