Within the framework of my trip to Paris on an official visit, I have met with the chair of the Ile-de-France regional council. Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan wrote this on Facebook.
"Yerevan attaches great importance to the track-record of its partner French cities and the opportunity to apply it [in Yerevan]; among which is, for example, the intention of greening and jointly transforming the areas of closed mines in Yerevan—which Ile-de-France has a successful track-record," Sargsyan added.
