British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace, who was one of the favorites to succeed Prime Minister Boris Johnson, said on Saturday that he had decided not to enter the leadership contest.
Wallace said he made such decision after 'careful consideration' and discussion with colleagues and family.
Former finance minister Rishi Sunak, in turn, announced his participation in the onc for two major posts in the UK.
