The plane of Azerbaijan Airlines, which took off on Sunday from Baku to Moscow, returned to the airport of departure for a technical reason, MK reports with reference to the press service of the airline.

The captain of flight J2 807 Baku - Moscow (Vnukovo airport) Airbus A340 decided to return to the airport for a technical reason, the report says.

At 09:11am local time, the aircraft landed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

The airline also said that passengers of the Baku-Moscow and Moscow-Baku flights, which had to be delayed, will be accommodated in a hotel and provided with everything necessary until the aircraft's technical problems are eliminated.
