The Danish manufacturer of Lego has decided to stop commercial activities in Russia. This was reported by Inc., citing a source in the company and confirmation of the CEO of the Russian division, Evgeny Chikhachev.

He added that we are talking about stores that worked in Moscow, as well as a partnership with Inventive Retail Group, which operated Lego stores throughout Russia. At the same time, the division in Moscow has already fired 70 employees, paying them benefits.

The termination of ties between Lego and Inventive Retail Group (IRG) could mean that IRG will not be able to sell Lego-branded goods, according to Stanislav Danilov, a partner at the Pen & Paper Bar Association. This, in turn, means the company's complete withdrawal from the Russian market.
